How do I make Highlight questions?
Highlight questions require students to select particular words or phrases from within a passage of text. Students are required to highlight certain words, based on a question prompt.
Creating the question
Select Add question and then choose one of the Highlight templates.
Enter a prompt in the Question Prompt section.
Select Edit on the Hightlight component.
Highlight the words which students will have to consider as 'correct' answers. Highlighting a word and selecting the + will add the selection as an option. The tick will add the selection as a correct answer.
You can select multiple words for a single gap by clicking on the first word and dragging over the rest of the phrase you would like to be included.
Once you've done selected all the desired sections, click Done.
You have the option of adding supporting media like images, sound, or videos. An Image component will be included in the template by default but you are able to add other components by clicking and dragging from the sidebar.

If students incorrectly answer the question, they will be shown the correct answer automatically. You can provide additional information about the correct answer by switching to the Explanation tab and adding/editing components.
