Finding content on EP

Finding the right resources for your students is an important part of using EP. This guide covers the key areas to look, and tips to find the right lessons.

Use our new Discover tool, which introduces a new and improved way to find and assign content.

Here, you can select your desired subject and level, and browse the available topics.

In your topic of choice you’ll see a list of lessons sequenced to progress students through units of work, and achieve specific learning outcomes. From here you can easily preview and assign lessons to students.

Can't find what you need? We're in the process of making all content available in Discover. Until then, find all existing EP content in Library.

The original EP Content Library has been moved to the Library tab. Use this area to browse our full content offering.

Browsing the full Library

Click or double click through the available folders to see what's available.

For each subject area, available content is split into different sections. A detailed explanation of each section can be found here, but when browsing manually, here’s what you’ll find:

Featured Content and EP Content

This content is shared among all schools that use a specific curriculum. This content is built and maintained by EP.

You can't edit this content directly, but you can create a copy of it if you would like to customise what’s available.

My School's Content

This section contains:

  • Any work that other teachers have made available to everyone at your school.
  • Any custom content that our Content Team has made available to your school.

It’s easy to rearrange content in this section, but remember that changes made will affect everyone at your school!

To learn how to share or find custom content on EP, see this article.

Search bar

If you're looking for something specific, use the search bar.

Open the Library tab in your dashboard, and click the search bar in the top right.

Type in your keyword and press enter. Search results are displayed, and you can then filter by author, curriculum, and content type.

The search will find any content that's accessible to you including Education Perfect Content, My School's Content, and any work other teachers have shared publicly.

Teacher Community results are filtered out by default. To include these search results, use the Author drop down.

What if my chosen subject doesn't exist on EP?

Can't find your chosen subject? We are unable to add new subject areas on request, however, we are constantly making improvements to our platform and we'd love to hear what you're missing.

In the meantime, we recommend repurposing a subject area like Cross-Curricular or Resources for your needs.

If you find that students are unable to access the content you have created in these subject areas, your licence may need to be adjusted. Contact our team for further assistance.
