Before we begin, please note

  1. If your school is integrated with WondeGoogle Classroom or Clever, your classes and accounts are managed via this integration and you will not be able to use class join codes.
  2. In order to create new student accounts via class join code, your students will need access to their student email in order to verify their account. If your students don’t have access to their email, you may need to create them manually.
  3. If your students already have an EP account, they should sign in prior to entering in the class join code.

Managing Class Join Codes

By default, every class on EP will have an associated Class Join Code/Link.

You can find this by navigating to the All classes area in your dashboard and clicking on any class (or create a new class). Navigate to the class, and in the People tab click +Add.

Within the popup, click into the Link or join code tab. This contains options to copy the related join code or link, which can be passed along to your students.

Distributing Class Join Codes

Once you have the code, you can distribute it to your students however you like so they can add themselves to your class. Student instructions can be found here.

Note: If your students have an existing account and attempt to use a class join code prior to signing in, they will receive the following error page. They will need to click the Log in button and sign into their account in order to be added to the class.
