What device and browser should I use to access Education Perfect?

EP leverages modern web technologies to bring you the best learning experience possible. We work hard to ensure this performs well across modern browsers. We also offer Android & iOS apps.

Browser Support

Education Perfect runs on most of the commonly used modern browsers, and we support the latest 2 major versions of any browser, excluding Internet Explorer 11.

We recommend using Google Chrome for the best possible EP experience. Learn how to set your default browser on your device.

Student app

The EP Student app is compatible with:

  • Android phones and tablets.
  • Apple iPhone.
  • Apple iPad.

You can find the most up-to-date versions of the student app on the Apple Store (for iOS) and the Google Play Store (for Android).

Software Supported?
iOS 13.0 and above
Android 5.1 and above

The EP Student App is currently not verified for MacOS. Students using a Mac computer should access EP through Google Chrome.

Students using a browser on iPad/tablet will not be able to access assessments that require full-screen monitor mode. Students should download and use the Student App instead.

Assessments are not available in any capacity on mobile phones.

Based in Canada? Our Teacher and Student Apps are currently unavailable in this region.

Teacher app

The EP Teacher app is compatible with:

  • Android phones
  • Apple iPhone

You can find the most up-to-date versions of the teacher app on the Apple Store (for iOS) and the Google Play Store (for Android).

Troubleshooting steps

For the most reliable experience when using a laptop or computer, use one of the major browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge. Our free app provides the most reliable experience when accessing Education Perfect using a smartphone or tablet.

The Education Perfect app may not run smoothly or reliably on older devices; we support the iPad Air and later full-sized iPads, as well as the iPad mini 2 or later.

If you are experiencing technical difficulties but your device, browser or app are all up to date, please contact our team; To speed up the troubleshooting process, please try to include the following information:

  • The name of the user experiencing the issue.
  • The type of device, and the app or browser that you're using.
  • The location of the issue (e.g. the name of the task, or the name of the lesson or list students are working on).
  • A description of the issue.
  • A screenshot of the issue, preferably of the whole screen instead of just the specific part of the screen that has the issue.
Voice recorder issues

If you have issues with recording your voice, we recommend trying one of the fully supported browsers below, as different web browsers have different levels of support for recording audio. Below is a list of browsers and whether recording is supported:

Switching your default browser

Windows

To change your browser on a Windows computer you will need to open your Start menu and select the Control Panel. If you have issues locating this, you can use the search bar.
