2026–2027 Wonde yearly rollover process for ANZ schools

Find out when your 2026 classes are removed from the daily Wonde sync and what your school needs to do to sync your 2027 classes to EP.

If your school has chosen to integrate with Wonde so classes sync automatically from your School Information System (SIS) to Education Perfect (EP), it’s important to understand how to roll your classes over from 2026 to 2027.

Note: This year, school administrators can sync classes to EP themselves, without needing to ask our Support team. We’re still happy to help with any questions you have about the process!

Step 1: Removing your 2026 classes from the daily Wonde sync

On November 27, 2026, we’ll remove your 2026 classes from the Wonde sync for all ANZ schools. This stops the daily syncs from updating those classes.

We do this because schools often change their timetables as they wrap up the year and prepare to roll over from 2026 to 2027. Those changes would sync automatically to EP and could cause unwanted changes to your classes. Removing the classes from the sync means students who are still using EP late in the year or over the school holidays don’t experience any disruption.

If you need to change your 2026 classes during this time, you can make the changes manually in EP.

We also aim to archive your 2026 classes before the 2027 school year starts, so you have a clean slate. Learn more about the class archival process.

Step 2: Rolling over your timetable

Before any 2027 classes can sync to EP, your school needs to roll over its timetable from 2026 to 2027 in your SIS.

If you expect your timetable won’t be rolled over until shortly before Term 1 starts, please remind teachers at your school not to enrol classes using any method other than Wonde.

Once your timetable has rolled over and the data has synced from your SIS to Wonde, you’re ready to start configuring classes to sync.

Step 3: Configuring and syncing your 2027 classes

As soon as your school’s timetable has rolled over, any school admin at your school can start configuring the classes they want to sync to EP. Classes are filtered by your subscribed subjects, so you can toggle on the ones you want to sync, then click the Sync classes button.

Once a class is enabled for syncing, any changes you make to it in your SIS will be reflected in EP after your school’s daily sync.

School administrators can also disable classes themselves, and view and resolve sync errors, without waiting for EP to do this on their behalf. See our configuration guide for more details.

FAQs

In previous years, the automatic syncs were paused. Is that still the case?

No, we no longer need to pause the syncs. Instead, we keep them enabled and remove your 2026 classes from the configuration. Your 2026 classes will still exist in EP, but Wonde won’t control them anymore, and they’ll be archived as part of our yearly clean-up at the start of 2027. See our yearly rollover process guide for more information.

Last year I had to tell EP when my school’s timetable rolled over so they could sync classes for us. Is that still required?

No. Once your timetable has rolled over, you can configure your own classes. You don’t need to tell us or wait for us to do it for you.

What do I do if teachers at my school created classes using other methods before I synced our classes through Wonde?

Contact our Support team. We can help you match up these classes so the sync doesn’t create duplicates.
