Starting a new subject trial with Education Perfect


As a School Administrator, you can now initiate a new subject trial directly from your Administrator Console. This guide will walk you through:


Initiating a self-serve trial

School Administrators can initiate a trial from within the Subscriptions area of their School Account. To get started:

  1. Log in to your EP account.
  2. Click on your name in the bottom left of the screen, and select School account to access the school administrator area.
  3. From the left navigation panel, select Subscriptions. Here, you will see your school's current subscriptions.
  4. To initiate a trial for a new subject, click Trial new subject button.
  5. Select the subject and year levels you would like to trial.
  6. Click Trial to submit your request.

What happens next?

  • You will receive a confirmation that your request has been received by EP.
  • Your trial subjects will be available within 24 hours.
  • Once ready, you’ll receive an email notification from EP confirming your trial is active.

Inviting teachers to join the trial

To get the most out of your trial, invite teachers to explore and utilise the new subjects.

Once you have received notification that your trial is ready to commence, it’s time to invite teachers to set up their trialing classes. 

Note: If a trialing teacher is new to EP, you will need to add them as a Teacher User:

  1. In your School account account, select People > Teachers.
  2. Click Add teacher.
  3. Enter the teacher’s details in the dialogue box.
  4. Click Add to complete the process.

📌 The teacher will receive an email prompting them to set or reset their password. Existing users will not receive this email.


Understanding teacher usage

As a School Administrator, it’s useful to be able to keep track of how trialing classes are engaging with the product and if and when support might be required.

  1. Access the School Administrator area of your Education Perfect account by clicking on your name on the bottom left of the screen.
  2. Select Usage Reporting from the left navigation. 

  3. Select the Subject, Level, Teacher and Date Range.

    You can then view activity for trialing classes.
