Using EP’s Google Classroom add-on
We're excited to announce EP's new Google Classroom Add-on, developed with Google Cloud! This article outlines how to use the add-on within Google Classroom once installed.
This add-on must be installed by a Google Workspace Administrator before it can be used. Learn how.
Exploring and assigning EP activities
Once installed, teachers will find an Education Perfect option included under Add-ons whenever they create assignments within Google Classroom.
This gives direct access to EP's Discover tool, which houses filterable curriculum aligned topics and activities. From here, you can browse and preview available activities.
When prompted, please log in to EP with your Google account.
Once you've found something you'd like to assign, click Assign to Google Classroom.
The activity is now included in the Google Classroom assignment, and you can assign this to your class as usual.
Come back to the assignment and preview the EP activity at any stage.
Student completes work
Once your assignment has been created with an EP activity included, students are able to access and complete this from within Google Classroom.
Upon clicking the EP activity, they'll be invited to log in, then are able to complete the activity. Once completed, the student can Hand in their assignment as usual.
When prompted, students must log in with their Google account.
Reviewing and marking completed work
Once students have handed in an assignment, you can view the completed work and give a mark from within the Student work page as normal.
To assist with marking, click into the EP activity from this page to view the insights captured by EP as the student completed the activity. This gives you a breakdown of the answers given by the student, their time spent on the activity, and highlights any areas where the student may require some support.
Once marked, move on to the next student using the controls at the top of the screen.
