Exporting data from Edsembli for enrolment on EP
When adding classes and students to EP, you'll need to supply specific information so user accounts can be created.
This article covers the process of exporting student data from Edsembli for enrolment on EP.
Export your data
Start by logging in to your Edsembli account, and clicking the menu button in the top left. Choose the Student Reports option, then select the Quick reports tile.
- Here, ensure Export to csv is selected, and that the Data type is Student.
- In Student fields, choose to include the fields that EP requires to add new students for your school then click Next. The information we require typically includes:
- Student first and last name
- Student email (or another unique identifier/ID)
- Class name and subject
- Class grade level
Teacher name and email

- In the Filter section, choose which group(s) of students you wish to include. You may want to select specific grades or selections of classes, depending on your subscription with EP.
- When you're ready, export your report. Edsembli will process your request, and you'll receive a notification once your file is ready to download.
- This file is what you need to submit to EP to set up your classes. You can now navigate to our enrolment portal, and submit your file.
You should know: The Enrolment Portal can instantly process files that are submitted in a specific format. For this to occur, you may need to rearrange some of the data in your file or rename some columns. Click for full formatting instructions.
Alternatively, drop your file into the portal as is and, when prompted, click Submit to Support team. Our team will process your enrolment on your behalf, and they'll let you know via email as soon as it's complete.
