Using EP with an iPad using iOS 12
Due to some recent EP updates, EP is unable to continue supporting the EP Student app for iPads using iOS 12. This article outlines how you can get around this and use Safari instead!

EP updates
As of September 2022, we've made some key updates to the EP platform, enabling us to continuously improve and enhance the experience of using Education Perfect.
As a result of these essential changes, as well as Apple phasing out support for iOS 12, the EP Student App is no longer available on iPads operating iOS 12.
To continue supporting learners and schools unable to upgrade to iOS 13 at this time, we will be continuing access to EP through Safari. If you're using one of these devices, check out the next section for info on how you can access EP.
Accessing EP on an iPad using iOS 12
You'll first need to remove the EP Student app, if you have it installed on your device.
Here's how:
- Tap and hold the EP App icon until x appears on the icon.
- Tab the x to remove the App.
- When prompted, select Remove App.
Next, follow these steps to access EP through Safari:
- Open Safari on your device and enter the following website address:
https://app.educationperfect.com/
. - You're now presented with the EP login page. Log in to your account as normal using your username and password, and continue to use EP as you normally would.
Add a shortcut to your iPad Home Screen
- Once you've accessed EP from your Safari web browser, tap the Share icon.
- Scroll across (or down) in the menu that appears, and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Edit the shortcut name and tap Add.
- A shortcut to EP will now be added to your home screen for easy access.
