Writing chemical formulas in EP Studio

This article explains how teachers can format chemical formulas in EP Studio using either regular text with subscript and superscript, or LaTeX for more complex notation.

There are two ways to format chemical formulas in EP Studio: using regular text with subscript and superscript or using LaTeX.

Method 1: Using regular text

Open a slide and insert a text component. Type the chemical symbols in and use the drop-down menu to insert superscript and subscripts where necessary.

To insert symbols such as arrows, select the ‘Equation’ function and then select the relevant symbols from the ‘Symbols’ drop-down menu.

Method 2: Using LaTeX

Open a slide and insert a text component. Type the chemical symbols in and use the drop-down menu to insert superscript and subscripts where necessary. To insert symbols such as arrows, select the ‘Equation’ function and then select the relevant symbols from the ‘Symbols’ drop-down menu.
