EP Whakataetae Reo Māori (For Everyone) - FAQ

In this article:

What is the EP Whakataetae Reo Māori for Everyone?

The EP Whakataetae Reo Māori for Everyone is a national, FREE access competition for all Kiwi (outside of Schools and Businesses) who compete each other by earning points from completing selected activities drawn from our Te Ao Māori learning material. There are a number of ways you can accumulate points; correctly answer questions about the Māori language, as well as correctly answer questions about Māori etiquette and national cultural events. The individual that has accumulated the most points by the end of the competition will be our national champion!

Our whakataetae is designed to assist all New Zealanders to celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori and Te Reo while ultimately contributing to the overall normalisation of our national language.
