EP Whakataetae Reo Māori for Everyone 2023
EP are thrilled to be hosting the Whakataetae Reo Māori for Everyone again in 2023!
Held during Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, this is a free access competition open to all New Zealanders (outside of schools or businesses using EP).
What is this event?
Individuals will compete against each other by completing selected activities drawn from our Te Ao Māori content to earn points.
You'll earn points by correctly answering questions about the Māori language, Māori etiquette, national cultural events and Aotearoa New Zealand Histories. The individual that has accumulated the most points by the end of the competition will be our National Champion!
Our whakataetae is designed to assist all New Zealanders to celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori and Te Reo while ultimately contributing to the overall normalisation of our national language.
When is this event?
Coinciding with Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week), this event is open from 9 am Wednesday 13 September until 4 pm Friday 15 September.
