What is EP Studio?

EP Studio is our brand new authoring tool, which is now available on the Education Perfect platform. With EP Studio you can create a wide variety of resources using our content creation tools, and share these with your colleagues wherever they are in the world.

How do I access EP Studio?

Once you have a teacher account, you can log in to the EP platform, and access EP Studio through the Content Library. Instructions on where it can be accessed, and how you can use it can be found in this article here. If you don’t have an EP account, you can request access to a teacher account here.

What is the EP Studio Teacher Competition?

The EP Studio Teacher Competition is a competition encouraging teachers to create a resource using EP Studio's intuitive authoring tools, and share these with their colleagues wherever they are in the world. The best lessons will earn a generous tech package for the school, and a voucher for the creator. More information can be found on the competition information page here. This competition ends on the 18th of September 2020.

How do I share content that I’ve made with teachers in other schools?

You can share content that you’ve made in the Content Library publicly, and other teachers will be able to locate it, copy it and use it themselves. Instructions on how to do this can be found in this article here.

How do I locate content that other teachers in other schools have made?

If a teacher at another school has shared lessons they've made publicly, you can locate these lessons by searching from your Content Library. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.

What social media platform should I share my lesson on, and what information should I include?

You can share your lesson on pretty much any social media platform to be eligible for the competition! Options include:

  • Facebook 
  • Twitter
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn 

You must include the exact lesson name, and use the #epstudio hashtag when posting. You must also ensure that your sharing settings are public, so that we can see your post.

How will the winning lessons be selected?

Lessons will be judged using the following criteria:

  • Follows the EP lesson creation guidelines
  • Shared with other teachers through EP and via social media
  • The amount of usage by students
  • Quality as judged by EP staff, and informed by feedback on social media

How do I invite my colleagues to take part?

Any teachers are welcome to register for the competition! They just need to sign up on this page, and you are welcome to pass this link to them.
