How can students view teacher feedback?
Your students are able to review any feedback that you have left on their extended response questions by finding the lesson in their Student Zone.
For instructions on how to leave feedback, you can refer to our article How do I give my students feedback on their extended responses?
Through the notification bell
When you leave feedback for your students, they will receive a notification through their accounts. If you have left written or audio feedback, students will see the green + sign. If you have required resubmission, they'll see the orange! icon.
To view the feedback, students can click the bell icon and then the notification.
They will then be taken directly to the question that you have left feedback on. Your feedback will appear in the lower-left corner of the page. The student will be able to view your comment and redo the question depending on what is required.
Through Tasks & Assessments
Students can also see that you have left feedback when viewing the task through Tasks & Assessments.
If you have left written or audio feedback, students will see the blue speech bubble. If you have required resubmission, they'll see the orange arrow icon, and then a red exclamation mark in the section of the lesson.
The icon(s) that show up will depend on what the teacher has selected when marking.
Students can track down the specific question that has feedback left on it by following the icons.
When they select the question, your feedback will appear in the lower-left corner of the page, and the student will be able to view your comment and redo the question depending on what is required.
If a student reattempts a question, you'll be shown their answer again through the Responses section of the Task.
