School leader permissions
This document outlines the process of configuring school leader permissions within the platform.
School leaders in EP will have access to School Snapshots reporting, and School Engagement Reports. School leaders can access all these reports through school insights.
Methods for elevating teachers to School Leaders
There are three primary methods to grant school leader permissions to a teacher:
- EP Staff via Organisations in Control Panel/Admin Portal: EP staff can assign permissions within the Organisations section of the control panel.
- EP Staff via Customers in Control Panel/Admin Portal: EP staff can assign permissions within the Customers section of the control panel/admin area.
- School Administrators via Settings: School administrators can elevate teachers to school leaders directly within the Settings area, under the People section.
Once a teacher has been given school leader permissions they will receive an email confirming that they have school leader access at EP.
School Administrators Granting School Leader Permissions (for School Administrators)
Steps:
- School administrators navigate to Settings.
- Select People in the secondary menu.
- Search for the user or select a teacher's name from the list. (Only teachers can be designated as school leaders.)
- Under User Details and Role toggle the School Leader setting to ON.
