How to set Education Perfect up on a phone or tablet

If you or your students are currently using the EP Mobile App, Education Perfect is transitioning to a new mobile experience — the Progressive Web App (PWA). This is a faster, more reliable experience accessed through your browser, ensuring instant access to the latest features without needing to update an app.

  • ❗ Using the EP Mobile App? Uninstall the old app and follow the steps below to install the new web-based version.

Education Perfect is available as a Progressive Web App (PWA). We are making some important changes to the way Education Perfect can be used on phones and tablets. This article outlines what’s changing, why we’re making these changes, and what steps you can take to continue accessing EP from your mobile device.

The EP Progressive Web App (PWA) provides a faster, smoother, and more secure experience. A PWA functions like an app but doesn’t require downloads. It’s faster, auto-updates, and ensures better security & stability, so you always have the latest version. This means:

✅ The EP mobile apps will be gradually removed from the Android and iOS app stores.

✅ You can continue using EP via your web browser or by installing the PWA (recommended).

Accessing Education Perfect on different devices and browsers

⚠️ Please note: EP Assessments can only be completed on a computer or tablet. Assessments are not supported on mobile phones. Students using tablets should use the EP PWA or Safari/Chrome for the best experience, however monitoring features may be limited compared to a desktop or laptop.

How to set up the EP Progressive Web App on iOS

⚠️ Important!

  • Please note that this setup requires iOS 12.2 or higher.
  • Delete the old EP app from your device before following the installation steps below.
  1. Open app.educationperfect.com in your browser (e.g., Safari or Chrome). Or if you're in Canada, open app.ca.educationperfect.com.
  2. Sign in to your EP account. Important: You must be signed into your EP account before proceeding further.
  3. Tap the Share icon in the navigation bar.
  4. Select Add to Home Screen.
  5. Tap Add to confirm.

How to set up the EP Progressive Web App on Android

⚠️ Important!

Delete the old EP app from your device before following the installation steps below.

  1. Open app.educationperfect.com in Chrome or another browser. Or if you're in Canada, open app.ca.educationperfect.com.
  2. Sign in to your EP account. Important: You must be signed into your EP account before proceeding further.
  3. Tap the three dots menu (...) in the browser.
  4. Select Add to Home Screen.
  5. Tap Install, and then Install again.
  6. Tap Add to confirm.

How to install the EP Progressive Web App on Mac or Windows

  1. Open app.educationperfect.com in Chrome or another supported browser. Or if you're in Canada, open app.ca.educationperfect.com.
  2. Sign in to your EP account. Important: You must be signed into your EP account before proceeding further.
  3. Click the Install icon in the browser's URL bar.
  4. Confirm by pressing Install in the pop-up menu.
