How do I know students are focusing on their work in class?

Using the Monitor feature

Use the Monitor tab of an assigned Task or Assessment to monitor the work students are doing in real-time.

First, you’ll need to assign a task to your class. Once they begin work, navigate to the Tasks section of your dashboard and click into the relevant Task (the same applies to Assessments).

To use the Monitor feature, you must assign the work as a Task or Assessment. This feature is not available for work that students complete independently through their Content Library.

Click the Monitor tab. Students who have been assigned the work are displayed on the left-hand side of the page. Here you can see their current status and their completion rate. Any students encountering an issue will be highlighted.

The page shows a timeline of student actions, giving you full details of how students are progressing.
