How can I aggregate my students’ common strengths and weaknesses?

Knowing where your students are excelling or struggling will help you determine key points in a topic to focus on. 

EP provides a variety of analytics and tools to help you determine how your class is performing as a whole and overall student strengths and development areas.

Getting started

First, set up an assessment through the Assessments tab of your dashboard, and have your students sit the assessment. If you have built your own assessment material, please refer to our guide on adding analysis tags to your assessment.

When your students have completed the assessment, navigate to the Report tab of that specific assessment. 

The Report section provides a detailed overview of how your students performed in the assessment, starting with an overview displaying the range of results. 

For this assessment, we can see that the average mark was 80% across the 4 students who completed the assessment.

Directly below the overview, you’ll find the Results Summary. This is provided in a bar graph highlighting the Number of students vs Grade (%).

Below Results Summary, you’ll find Student Results. This section lists the results for each student for the topics the assessment covers. 

Below Student Results, you will find Analysis and Recommendations. We can see that Challenging Words has the lowest accuracy at 60%, so we can safely assume that this is the area the students struggle with most, and is an area where they would benefit from further revision.
