How do I embed content, tasks and assessments in Schoology?
Content can be embedded into a Schoology course by copying specific links found in the Control Panel into Schoology.

Finding the link for a lesson from the Content Library
Navigate to the Library, and locate the lesson that you wish to embed. Click +Assign, and a dialogue will be displayed with several options.
Click the Get link for LTI button to copy the link to your clipboard. You can now paste this link wherever you require.
Finding the link for a Task or Assessment
To embed a Task or Assessment, navigate to that Task or Assessment in question, and click into the Details tab. Copy the link that indicates Schoology.
The directions are the same for both Tasks and Assessments!
Adding the link into a Schoology Course
Once you have copied the link you wish to embed, navigate to Schoology and select the course you would like to add the resource into. Click Add Materials then Add File/Link/External Tool. Click External Tool in the first popup.
In the Add External Tool window select Education Perfect as the Tool Provider.
If Education Perfect is not on the list, this may mean that you’ve only integrated Education Perfect with a specific Schoology course – you’ll need to either add Education Perfect at the school level (as a Schoology Administrator) or add it to each course you want to add Education Perfect content into.
Add a Title that makes sense for you and your students, and paste the URL of the content you wish to embed.
Automatic grade writeback is only possible with Education Perfect Assessments added with Enable Grading ticked. See our article on grade writeback in Schoology to find out more about setting this up.
Finally, click Submit to add the material to your course.
