Has my student paid the fee on their booklist?
Teachers can quickly check which students in their classes have paid for access to the platform by viewing the Notifications column in their class.
To view student payment status
- Navigate to My active classes on your dashboard.
- Click into the class you want to check.
- Go to the People tab.
Check the Notifications column in the student table to see the payment status of each student.
Understanding payment statuses
There are two possible payment statuses:
Payment unknown
- This status means we haven’t yet received payment information for the student.
- The reason could be that the booklister has not provided payment details or the payment enforcement date has not yet been reached.
- Students with this status can still access the platform until their status updates to Payment Required.
Payment required
- This status means the student has not yet paid for their Education Perfect access.
- They can continue to use the platform until the payment enforcement date is reached.
- After that date, access will be restricted until payment is made.
How students can make payment
If your school has enabled PayPal payments, students with a Payment required status will see an option to pay via PayPal in the Student Zone. See How do students pay for a subscription through the Student Zone? for steps to make payment.
- Once payment is completed, their status will update automatically.
- If PayPal is not available, students will need to arrange payment through their school.
