How can students access their set work?

As a teacher, it’s useful to know how students can access work that you’ve assigned them on EP. Below, we’ve outlined the different ways students can access assigned activities.

Through the Student Zone

Students can access their work by logging in and viewing their dashboard.

The My Learning area shows everything that’s been assigned broken down by timeframe.

Students can also click into each of their classes to see activities associated with that specific class.

As a teacher, you can test Tasks and Assessments before you assign them to your class.

Accessing past work

The Activity tab contains anything students have completed in the past. Here, students can access Tasks, Assessments, and other activities they’ve completed in the past.

Competitions

Active competitions and competitions that are coming up in the near future can be accessed through the Competitions page.

Independent learning

Students have access to activities within the EP Library and can complete work independently if they like.

This can be helpful for self-directed or independent learning, or students who want to extend their learning outside of what’s been assigned to them. Students can use this to practice in the lead-up to exams, and even explore subjects they might not be actively participating in.

Are there lessons, exams, or topics you’d prefer students not to access? You can easily hide content from students.

Students can click the Library tab, then select the subject they wish to browse. From here, students can look through the available folders for activities, and access them in their own time.

Any work completed in this way will be shown in the student’s Learning Record and reporting history as normal.
