EP hosts a variety of engaging student competitions every year. These give students the opportunity to have fun with their learning and compete with peers from different states and countries.

Southern Hemisphere World Series 2025
We are proud to offer annual, free competitions that give Australian and Kiwi students the opportunity to have fun and compete with their peers across major subject areas. Learn more.
- EP Language Championship: 6 May – 13 May
- EP Maths Championship: 26 May – 30 May
- EP English Championship: 9 June – 13 June
- EP Science Championship: 11 August – 15 August
*All students with active EP accounts will be automatically entered
Regional Competitions
Each year, we also host some special competitions for students to compete with other students within their region.
ANZ Regional Languages Competitions will be held between 28 July - 1 August.
Brain Bee Competition 2025
Brain Bee is a competition for high school students in Years 10 (Australia) and 11 (New Zealand) to learn about the brain and its functions, learn about neuroscience research, find out about careers in neuroscience, and dispel misconceptions about neurological and mental illnesses.
Round 1 for this event will take place from the 3rd – 31st March 2025. Learn more here.

School-wide & Inter-school Competitions
At any time, you are able to create your own competitions for students within your school or even inter-school competitions between your students and students at a partner school. This option is available to all schools with an Education Perfect subscription.
